Synopsis:
Lionel Shriver's debut tells the story of Eve, a woman pleased with herself. She is the author and publisher of travel guides for urban people as happy as they. Married for years with Franklin, a photographer and lighting designer who works in advertising, decide, and about forty years and after much hesitation, have a child. The product of such tentative decision will be Kevin. However, almost from the beginning, nothing seems to unspeakable family myths urban middle class and happy.
